WAI Global has announced the acquisition of ACI Automotive, a supplier of washer pumps, window regulators and door components from Standard Motor Products (SMP).

Located in Lewisville, Texas, ACI manufactures washer pumps in its North American facility for distribution to both domestic and international markets. It says that “strategic decision to supply ‘exact fit’ products combined with an intensive product validation process has allowed ACI to maintain its position as the industry leader in this category.”

WAI says this new addition to its portfolio “strengthens our product range and allows us to continue offering high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of the automotive aftermarket.”

WAI Global says also that this acquisition will lead to expanded product lineup with window regulators, washer pumps and door components, all complementary to WAI’s window regulator, wiper motor, and transfer case motor programs.

WAI says it will expand the availability of ACI’s products through WAI’s global network.
