SKF Group has announced the appointment of Olaf Henning as General Manager & Head of Global Automotive Aftermarket, effective mid-November.
Olaf succeeds Philipp Herlein, who has been named Managing Director of the Global SKF Lubrication & MPT Division.
Olaf Henning joins SKF with a wealth of experience, having previously served as Executive Vice President at MAHLE Group.
In this role, he was globally responsible for both the strategic and operational management of the Automotive Aftermarket business unit and the group’s global logistics.
His extensive career also includes significant positions at Michelin and Bosch, where he developed broad international expertise in the automotive sector, particularly in the aftermarket.
Throughout his career, Olaf has been actively involved in industry associations and committees such as VDA, CLEPA, TecAlliance, and Partslife, where he has been a strong advocate for the automotive aftermarket sector.
