Sayco-Canbuilt or Toronto, Ont., has announced a merger with Docap Distribution, Mississauga, Ont., a major supplier to the Canadian automotive and industrial markets.

The announcement was made by Lisa Teskey, president of Canbuilt Mfg. The business merger was effective as of October 1, 2020.

“Docap and will be an excellent partner for Sayco-Canbuilt Mfg. We both look forward to introducing our product lines to the distributors we have not met, while supplying our mutual customers with new products,” says Teskey.

“All of our employees will remain with Sayco-Canbuilt and continue on as you have known them to do so, from a sales, operations, accounts and administrative position. It will be business as usual; same location, phone/fax numbers and email addresses.”

Jason Fielden will serve as president of Docap, bringing his knowledge of the business, industry experience and supplier relationships to the benefit of the organization.
