Roy Kent takes on role with Federated Auto Parts

Aftermarket veteran Roy Kent will take on the new role of executive vice president – member support and business development for Federated Auto Parts.

Aftermarket veteran Roy Kent will take on the new role of executive vice president – member support and business development for Federated Auto Parts.

The appointment becomes effective July 1 and was announced by Federated President Sue Godschalk.

Kent brings decades of experience and long-time industry relationships to the new role, having served in a variety of sales and management leadership positions at Everco, Moog, Cooper Industries and Federal-Mogul.

Most recently, he served as executive vice president – supplier relations with the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group) where he collaborated with members and vendors to identify mutually beneficial opportunities.

“Roy has great experience and a solid track record of success throughout his career and he was instrumental in helping The Group establish strong supplier relationships over the past five years,” said Larry Pavey, CEO of The Group.

“We appreciate the professionalism and dedication he brought to that assignment and wish him well in his new role.”
