Bestbuy Distributors Limited is one of Canada’s oldest, most established distribution organizations.

The shareholder owned and operated organization has a personality all it’s own, with a deep-rooted sense of “family” among its shareholders.

Nick Brunet, President of Bestbuy Distributors, talks about what it means to respect the legacy of one of Canada’s oldest distribution organizations while building for the future with new tools and a new outlook.

“We’re well positioned as an independent and a shareholder owned company, and our shareholders are jobbers,” says Brunet. “So the jobbers are out there in the market, but they’re also owners of our company.

“So, we are certainly staunchly independent, so we don’t want to tell our shareholders what to do. We like to guide them and give them information, but ultimately they’re in control of their own destiny and their own successes. We’re there to assist that.
