Phillips has launched its X-tremeUltinon LED headlights in the Canadian market. The new headlights produce a brighter, bolder light that illuminates the road up to 200 percent more than traditional halogen headlights, delivering up to 6500 K arctic white light for high-end styling that is noticeably whiter.
X-tremeUltinon LED products also are available for some motorcycle, scooter, ATV and snowmobile models.
“Our team is particularly proud of the new X-tremeUltinon LED products. Not only are they a superior product with longer life and more durability but they will also bring a sense of style and sophistication to any vehicle,” said Dave Illes, director of sales and marketing, North American Aftermarket, Lumileds. “Given the unique Canadian landscape and lighting season, Canada is the perfect place to launch this brighter, bolder product line.”
In addition to increased illumination and style, the X-tremeUltinon LED headlights last longer than traditional halogen headlights. X-tremeUltinon LED products also are more durable than competing aftermarket LED headlights due to Phillips’ AirCool and Airflux Technology that cools the headlights and fog lights. The products also have an IP65 enclosure that protects the lights against dust and water splashes.
Phillips currently offers six SKUs 9005, 9006, 9012 H4, H7 and H11 applications.
