New Carquest Canada/Worldpac DC brings Massive Boost to Inventory and Service

The new Carquest Canada DC provides more than 500,000 square feet of space, more than 350,000 parts on hand, and superior service offerings to Carquest stores and their customers.

As announced by Advance Auto Parts, a leading automotive aftermarket parts supplier and parent company to Carquest and Worldpac, Canada’s new Carquest and Worldpac distribution centre is the first to house both operations under one roof.

Located at 8399 George Bolton Parkway, in Bolton, Ontario, the new facility measures approximately 580,000 square feet and has the capacity to house more than 350,000 automotive parts serving the majority of domestic and import vehicles in Canada.

The new Carquest and Worldpac distribution centre employs more than 200 team members, with many team members living locally in Bolton, Caledon and surrounding communities.

The combined Carquest and Worldpac product offering in one building, provides stores, branches and customers with the largest assortment of brands and superior service.

This distribution centre enables Carquest and Worldpac to stock more parts than ever before and its technology and quick replenishment system will help deliver product to customers quickly and efficiently.

Among the expanded features are a much larger capacity for handling PBE products for the collision repair segment, an expanded returns area that will speed handling, and a dedicated Planogram (POG) Room that will enable stores to effectively merchandise in line with changing product trends.

The facility also includes a large, dedicated training room.

Today, the facility serves more than 130 Carquest stores and Worldpac branches across central and eastern Canada.

These stores and branches serve more than 37,000 professional repair shops and automotive dealerships.

This includes 500 TechNet Professional repair shops.
