Federated Auto Parts celebrating 40th Anniversary

by | Jan 28, 2025 | 0 comments

Established in 1985, Federated Auto Parts is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2025.

Federated Auto Parts was founded by the late Art Fisher, an industry leader and visionary. Joining on Jan. 1, 1985, Fisher Auto Parts and Westwood Auto Parts became the first two Federated members.

Three additional WDs became members throughout 1985, Automotive Jobbers Supply in April and Warehouse Inc. and Auto Distributor in December.

Today Federated has more than 80 members located throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas and Mexico.

“The success of Federated over the past 40 years is largely due to the unwavering support and dedication of our members. Federated would not exist without them,” said Sue Godschalk, CEO of Federated Auto Parts.

“Although we will be celebrating our past throughout the coming year, we will also be looking to the future. Federated will continue to evolve and grow, embracing innovation, expanding and reinforcing partnerships, and providing exceptional value to our members and customers. The next 40 years look very bright.”

A yearlong celebration will include special programs, promotions and events for Federated members, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. In recognition of the anniversary, Federated has created a special logo to commemorate the 40-year milestone.
