Word has reached Jobber Nation of the passing of Douglas Earl Williams on January 2, 2024 at the age of 77.
Doug Williams was best known in recent years as the founder of National Sales Inc. in 1998, regarded as one of the most connected sales agencies in the Canadian automotive aftermarket.
Doug Williams was known as a generous individual, giving of his time and donations to worthy causes, and a dedicated family man.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Douglas Earl Williams surrounded by his family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, on January 2nd, 2024. A family man first and respected leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, He was 77.
Doug, profoundly loved and he will be deeply missed by wife Marlene. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of family values, and innovation in the automotive sector, where he served as a prominent and dynamic figure for over 50 years. His unwavering commitment and love for his family can be seen through all of his children and grandchildren who he adored.
He is loved and survived by children Sean Williams (Amy ), Katie Herbert (Rob), Steve McKirdy (Dawn), Barbara Ann McKirdy and Michael McKirdy. A loving poppa to grandchildren Isobel, Gavin, Gabriel, Isabella, and Jaxton. He will also be deeply missed by brother Joe (Betty) and sister, Hazel. Doug was predeceased by first wife Kathryn Osborne, and his parents, Mae and Lestley Williams.
Doug’s remarkable influence extended beyond his professional achievements and family values, known for his generosity and compassion, he touched the lives of countless individuals by providing opportunities for growth and success.
In this time of grief, we remember Doug not only as a leader but as a loving husband, father, Poppa, and friend. His impact on both the automotive industry and the lives he touched will be cherished and remembered with profound gratitude.
May he rest in peace, and may his family find solace in the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
