Bestbuy Distributors Limited has announced its membership in the Federated Auto Parts Group, one of North America’s most respected alliances of automotive aftermarket leaders.

As a Federated member, Bestbuy gains enhanced access to competitive buying opportunities, exclusive national brand programs, and a network of industry peers who share its unwavering commitment to quality, service, and innovation, says the Canadian aftermarket organization.

“This is a powerful alignment for our organization,” says Nick Brunet, President of Bestbuy Distributors. “Joining forces with Federated strengthens our buying power, expands our reach, and positions us to offer even greater value to our shareholders and customers across Canada.”

Shareholder owned Besbuy Distributors buying group and warehousing distribution company currently supporting auto parts wholesalers from its main warehouse and headquarters in Mississauga, Ont., and its Western Canada Distribution Centre in Edmonton, Alta.

Federated Auto Parts is one of the largest aftermarket organizations in North America, with some 4,000 member outlets. Headquartered in Staunton, Virginia, Federated is a founding member of the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group).

In late 2022, Federated Auto Parts Inc., and the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. announced a strategic collaboration to combine certain activities and resources to reduce costs and improve service and efficiency to their respective members.

The collaboration provides a framework for sharing benefits and costs in a number of administrative and support areas and includes shared ownership in The Automotive Parts Services Group.

“The Federated Auto Parts Group is known for uniting independent distributors under a common vision of operational excellence and customer-driven success. Bestbuy’s inclusion further reinforces its standing as a trusted name in Canada’s automotive aftermarket landscape.

“Together, we’re stronger, delivering more value, exceptional service, and continued success from coast to coast,” says the buying group.”

Before this latest move, Bestbuy had operated as a member of the Automotive Parts Associates.
