Albert North Auto & Agro in Regina is slated to be in the new 16,500-square-foot location November 12
Albert North Auto & Agro, Regina, Sask., has announced a new, super location set to open November 12. The new operation, at16,500 square feet, merges the Regina inventory warehouse and retail location into one.
Albert North Auto & Agro and it’s sister location Great West Auto & Agro in Moose Jaw, Sask., are part of Uni-Select member Central Canada Industries which also operates the Auto Parts Central stores in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
“With the growth of our business in Regina and Moose Jaw we needed to centralize our operations,” says Wayne Maunula, president of parent company Central Canada Industries. “Putting our inventory and staffing under one roof has obvious synergies. Delivery times shorten with the immediate access to a broader inventory offering.
“The new operation is the vision of our General Manager Bob Fitzel who has run the operation for 30-plus years. He’s been working diligently on this project for a couple years.”
The previous location had better main street visibility, but the trade off for the new location–only two blocks south and one block off the main street–were worth it, says Maunula.
“With Covid19, our new operation has many advantages over our previous location: the spacious retail area for customers and staff allow for better social distancing and the location has better parking for both customers and staff. “
“Kudos go to the management and staff at Albert North Auto and Great West Auto for what looks like a banner year during what could have been very trying times.”
