AIA Canada’s Canadian Auto Care Industry Conference kicks off March 19

The Canadian Auto Care Industry Conference (CAIC) brings together the AIA Canada National Conference and CCIF Toronto for two-days of networking and learning about hot industry topics, trends, challenges, and the state of Canada’s auto care sector.

The sold out event is scheduled for March 19 and 20, 2025 at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto Airport & Conference Centre to connect with industry leaders and explore the future of auto care.

The opening session on Wednesday will be presented by Jean- François Champagne, CAE, president and CEO of AIA Canada. He will provide attendees with insight on who AIA Canada is, and how its initiatives and advocacy aim to ensure the longevity and success of the auto care industry.

Next on the agenda James Channer, CEO, InMotion Brands will chair a panel on “Labour market: Is immigration an answer to labour challenges?” featuring panelists, Tony Kuczynski, president and CEO, Mister Transmission, Paul Prochilo, CEO, Simplicity Car Care, Susan Mowbray, partner consulting, MNP, and Karim Mouldi, president, Canari Recruitment International.

The event will also include formal prestations of industry awards.

A full day of presentations include concurrent sessions including: “Women in the Auto care sector,” presented by Susanne Morello, senior vice President – marketing North America, Mevotech; “Young Professionals in the Auto care sector” by Charles Fordjour, national sales manager – aftermarket, CARFAX Canada; and, “Consumer experiences and expectations of vehicle tech,” by Rick Nadeau, president, Quorus Consulting.

Addiional presentations include “The road ahead: Top trends in the auto care sector,” “Vehicle technology outlook,” and a dive into “Federal election 2025: Insights for Canada’s auto care industry.”

The days’ events will be followed by a networkingreception.

Canadian Collision Industry Forum related programming takes place Thursday, March 20.
