The Young Leader of the Year Award, presented by AIA Canada’s Young Professionals in the Aftermarket (YPA) Committee, recognizes the efforts of such outstanding individuals. Show one of your employees they are valued.

Who can you nominate?

Any young executive or manager in your organization who has excelled in one or more of the following areas:leadership; innovation; industry contribution; volunteer work with AIA Canada; volunteer/community work outside of the Association.

The award will be presented at the AIA Canada AGM Welcome Reception on May 10, 2022 in Toronto, ON.

About the Young Professionals in the Aftermarket

The YPA Committee is composed of 15 to 20 representatives from AIA member companies plus a Chairman. Representation must include members from the supplier, warehouse distributor, wholesaler/jobber, and mass merchandiser categories of memberships.

The mission of the Young Professionals in the Aftermarket (YPA) is to act as the Voice and the Resource for young professionals in the automotive aftermarket industry. The mandate is to provide members with a forum to express their views and recommendations on the current industry issues and to ensure its future growth and prosperity. YPA also provides a networking and mentoring environment for employees in the automotive aftermarket industry to enhance and develop their executive skills so that they may grow into stronger leaders of the industry.
