Dayco names Head of Sales for North America Aftermarket

Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, has appointed Andy Poorman as the company’s new Head of Sales for North America Aftermarket. 

Poorman joins Dayco from Wolo Manufacturing where he served as VP of Sales and helped drive record sales numbers.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Dayco’s team with a career steeped in not only sales but planning, marketing, product management, sourcing, and quality, having worked with a number of companies within the automotive aftermarket arena.

Reporting directly to Audrey Harling, VP & Managing Director, North America Aftermarket and Global Strategy, Poorman will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, enhance relationships with channel partners, and identify portfolio growth opportunities in Dayco’s key markets – light vehicle, heavy-duty, powersports and industrial – across both the U.S. and Canada.

Poorman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Akron.

Active in professional organizations such as the Aftermarket Sales Council, Poorman and his wife currently reside near Chicago.
