Members of the Manitoba Automotive Aftermarket along with Child & Family Services Western Manitoba (CFSWM) hosted their 18th Annual Golf tournament in June, raising more than $5000 for the cause.
This year’s $5200 donation brings the 18 year total donated to Sun Fund for Kids to more than $126,000.00.
The Sun Fund for Kids Westman is administered by CFSWM with 100% of the monies raised used to send children to various area camps.
The Sun Fund for Kids Westman was spearheaded by Brian Marshall with the Brandon Sun and CFS Western Manitoba in 1988.
The tournament was held at Shilo Golf Course in Shilo Manitoba and attended by 31 golfers with 43 Sun Fund Hole Sponsors, many of them whom have been supporters since the inaugural tournament in 2005.
A great day of golf was had by all who once again enjoyed the challenging course under sunny skies. At the post tournament dinner Manitoba Automotive Aftermarket members presented a cheque for the total $5200.00 to CFS Western Manitoba C.E.O. Arlene Stewart.
Thanks to tournament organizers Pete Lepage, Auto Parts Central Brandon, Mark Gillis, CFSWM, Jason Dueck CFSWM and Brent Karr, Bestbuy Distributors Ltd.
