Joergen Wikene has been promoted to Sales Manager – Western Canada with First Brands Group.

Wikene was previously in the role of Business Development Manager with First Brands Group, which he joined in January 2022.

An aftermarket professional with some 30 years experience in the industry, he was with Uni-Select prior to joining First Brands Group, most recently as Field Sales Professional.

His career in the aftermarket dates back to 1992 when he joined the NAPA Burnaby, B.C. distribution centre. He starting out as general labour and held a variety of progressively more responsible positions, moving into sales over the course of nine years.

He also spent several years in sales positions with Standard Motor Products and Shell as well as National Sales Inc.

“In my career in sales, I have been privileged to learn from many excellent managers and my hope moving forward is to take what I have learned and adapt that into my own style of leadership with my valued team and customers,” said Wikene in the announcement of his promotion.
