Rick Miller, Chairman of E.R.I. Engine Rebuilders Incorporated has announced the appointment of industry veteran William (Bill) Hay to the E.R.I. Group Team as President, effective July 4th, 2023.

Bill Hay has extensive experience in leadership roles within Canada’s automotive aftermarket.

He most recently served as President of Bestbuy Distributors Limited, one of Canada’s largest aftermarket distribution organizations from 2019 to early 2023.

Hay joined Bestbuy having spent over 30 years with Dayco Canada Corporation and Un-Select.

At Dayco he held a variety of leadership roles including Regional Sales Manager, Manager – National Accounts, National Sales Manager and Vice President, Sales and Marketing with overall responsibility for Canada.

After Dayco, Hay held increasingly more senior roles at Uni-Select and served as Regional Vice President – Central and Atlantic.

Bill Hay has also served on the board of directors for Shad’s R&R, the Canadian aftermarket’s largest charity event.
