The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. is delighted to announce MPA, Motorcar Parts of America, as the 2023 Auto Value Receiver’s Choice Award winner. The award was presented at the Auto Care Association’s Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) Knowledge Exchange Conference
MPA received recognition for their outstanding material, content, accuracy, and never-ending improvement.
“This is a great team accomplishment, and we thank Auto Value for the recognition, but more importantly for their partnership,” said Craig Meadows, Director – Traditional Sales for Motorcar Parts of America.
“We have an amazing team here who work together with the Alliance on accurate data and content. To be recognized by the Alliance for the 2023 Receiver’s Choice Award is an honor and speaks to the success we are having in our partnership.”
The 2023 award was presented by Lance Brierley, Director of Technology Solutions at Alliance Headquarters.
“The responsiveness of the team at MPA has always been impressive. It’s their dedication to going beyond the data that separates them from others.” said Brierley.
The Receiver’s Choice Award recognizes a channel partner which exhibits expertise in electronic catalogue data, used for B2B and B2C platforms as well as data reporting. Each year, Auto Value recognizes an individual company who delivers high-quality content such as Aftermarket Catalogue Exchange Standards (ACES), Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES), digital assets, and other customer-specific formats. Providing accurate data and content supports Auto Value warehouse distributors efforts in e-commerce and retail selling.
“MPA has always been extremely collaborative, and a great partner. They enthusiastically have helped the Alliance build a distinct product with The MacPherson Ride hub assembly line,” said Dale E. Hopkins, vice president and chief information officer at the Alliance. “Congratulations to the entire team at MPA.”
To be eligible for the award, MPA was required to meet standards of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, delivery, communication, and more.
“They consistently provide updates to their data and content and support a collaborative working partnership to improve how their products are represented, marketed, sold and tracked,” said Barbara Henry, Information Services Manager at Alliance Parts Warehouse. “They are always excellent to work with and lead by example with their accuracy.”
The ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference, now commemorating its 50th year, is the only community in the automotive industry that exclusively focuses on the education and professional development needs of content management professionals, promotes industry technology standards, and provides a forum for industry discussion. The conference’s yearly event was held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando from May 21 to 24, 2023.
ACPN helped develop ACES and PIES data principles. Through these efforts, Car Care Catalog Manager members can sell more products through their catalog, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
